Hi !! ^^ I really liked it ^^ I’m gonna see it again soon ;)
And yes I recommend it ! It’s beautiful, funny and there are really interesting relationships and excellent parts. I won’t say anything else, I don’t want to spoil ^^’
It’s not really original overall but it’s normal, there are so many movies about tiny people. It’s not as deep as I would have like but it’s a movie for children so… But I heard adults who laughed in the cinema !
3D must be great with this movie. I haven’t seen it in 3D, because it gives me headaches.

If you haven’t seen Wakfu yet I highly suggest that you do. It is an absolutely stunning (both visually and conceptually) show, with kickass animation and music to boot. Since watching it, I admit that I have become a tad obsessive over it. No doubt my favorite show of all time. I’ll be doing more photosets and gifs like this in the future.

I think I’m gonna do some other Epic fanArts soon. It makes me mad.
I think I’m gonna draw some MK/Nod or Tara, she’s really too beautiful.
Or something like observational drawing, to really learn how to draw Nod and MK. I don’t like the faces I did previously. I want to do something simple, but efficient, still show my own style, but still recognize well the faces.

I’ve got a big problem with perfection.

I’d like to draw Ronin and Bomba, characters I really love too, but I don’t want to miss them. I’m not good at drawing adult men. And I don’t know which scenery make.

So, I saw the preview of Epic today.

I really loved the relationships between the characters, the only problem is that the movie is too short !! It goes too fast for me, we don’t have the time to relish.

I really loved Tara, Ronin, MK, Nod (♥q♥), Bufo, Mandrake, the little flower and her mother etc.

Some interessting ships are Nod/MK (really cute I think ♥o♥), Ronin/Tara (ambiguous, touching), MK/Her father, Nod/Ronin (something they should have work on more I think), It would have been more powerful. I think I liked the movie because of those relationships, because it was really beautiful and the fact that leafmen live faster than us. This was great !

We don’t see Bufo a lot. It’s a shame because they could use him more : Some characters are sometimes needless, like Nim Galu and the snail. I prefer the slug, funnier. I think it would have been better with more serious. Even if it’s a movie for children.

Tara is a very strong Queen, who continues to smile while she dies. I really liked her, even if we don’t see her a long time. The animation is amazing, especially all the animals.

I loved the end. I won’t tell you but, seriously, it was great >< The fact that she stills communicate with them >< I’d like an Epic 2, to see what they would do.

Finally, I would have loved something with more emotion, smarter, even if I know it’s for children because I’m waiting for so many time for Epic. Anyway movies for children aren’t just for children in my opinion. I saw so many movies in my childhood I haven’t understood at all so I’m happy to understand now.

I will go to see it again in a week, because there are really some parts I loved and it’s beautiful and yes I love the characters.

I forgot : the music is great and love Beyonce’s song ^^ What a shame they haven’t used the Snow Patrol’s song —”

What I say here isn’t really clear, I did something better in french :

J’ai vu Epic en avant-première aujourd’hui, j’y retourne bientôt.

J’aurais préféré quelque chose de plus profond, justement parce qu’en général les films sur le sujet sont pas assez poussés, et là ça manque d’émotion je trouve, mais globalement je suis pas déçue, ya vraiment de bons passages, les relations entre les persos sont vraiment intéressantes, c’est juste que c’est dommage qu’ils aient pas poussé un peu plus dessus. Et aussi ya des persos inutiles que t’as envie de taper, d’autres que tu vois pas assez.
Ils auraient dû faire quelque chose de moins humoristique, plus sérieux, quoique que ya des trucs vraiment sympas ^^.
Donc voila je vous dis, je suis réaliste. Mais j’ai quand même beaucoup aimé, vu que j’y retourne avec plaisir ^^

Et je suis catégorique j’adore vraiment Nod ^^

J’ai cogité depuis tellement de temps sur ce film qu’au final il m’a paru vraiment trop court, j’ai pas eu le temps de profiter ><

Enfin bref je vous conseille d’aller le voir, l’animation est très belle et pas mal de persos attachants. et la fin est bien aussi je trouve, vous me direz ce que vous en pensez :)
